Revision Hip Replacement

Mr Donnachie has a sub-specialist interest in revision hip surgery. He was trained in revision hip surgery techniques at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, Wrightington Hospital, The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and Austin & Repatriation Hospital, Melbourne, Australia.

Mr Donnachie has carried out several hundred revision hip replacement operations using cemented and uncemented techniques and is trained in impaction bone grafting, structural bone grafting, the use of long stem uncemented prostheses and Trabecular Metal implants.
